Newt Gingrich Asks MSNBC’s Chris Matthews Is He’s A Racist

Newt Gingrich is very good at grabbing attention, and ruffling feathers. He called MSNBC host Chris Matthews a racist on his show 'Hardball'.

Like most of the major news channels, MSNBC is live at the Republican National Convention. 'Hardball' host Chris Matthews was talking with former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich about some comments he made about President Obama's presidency.

In the past Gingrich has called Obama a 'food stamp president', but Gingrich turns the tables on Matthews and says the only reason he feels it's  racist statement is because he himself is racist.
