New Legal Attack On Cape Wind

Another legal attack has been launched against Cape Wind. The new federal lawsuit is one of many lodged over the years by the "Alliance To Protect Nantucket Sound." This one claims the Patrick Administration overstepped its bounds by pushing NStar to accept certain rates in a long-term contract with the proposed offshore wind farm. Cape Wind calls the lawsuit "frivolous." They're trying to line up financing for the massive power project, expected to cost two-and-a-half billion dollars.
