Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech's Early Childhood Program has once again earned national accreditation.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children has renewed the accreditation for the program, since all 400 criteria points were met.

Early Childhood Education teacher Michael Lipp tells WBSM News the status puts the program up there with the nation's best pre-schools.

Lipp says the program has to apply for reaccreditation every five years. The Early Childhood Program is subject to surprise visits from the NAEYC during the five year accreditation, to ensure the program is being run according to the Association's standards.
