New Bedford Police Investigating Weekend Armed Robbery

NEW BEDFORD- Detectives are investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place on Friday night at the Green Miles Convenient Store on Ashley Boulevard.

At about 5:30 p.m. the suspect displayed a knife and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a a thin white male with a beard who was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jean shorts at the time of the robbery.
