New Bedford Police Investigating Shots Fired in Near North End

NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — New Bedford Police are investigating after shots were fired in the city’s Near North End on Sunday evening.

Police said that units responded to the area of North Front Street and Davis Street at about 6 p.m. on November 17 for a report of shots fired.

Officers arrived and located shell casings at the scene.

There were no injuries reported and police said no property damage was discovered.

The incident remains under investigation by New Bedford Police detectives.
