New Bedford Police Arrest Man for Stealing Camera Equipment
A New Bedford man is arrested after police say he broke into a home in the West End.
New Bedford Police spokesman Lt. Amos Melo tells WBSM News a neighbor in the zero-block of Locust Street called police late Monday morning to report a man breaking into a nearby home. When police responded, they found a barrel beneath a window, and an air conditioner pushed into the home.
Officers were able to gain access to the home, and found 22-year-old Brian Konstantakos trying to steal a camera and some accessories.
Konstantakos was arrested and charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony.
