New Bedford PD Seizes 43 Grams of Cocaine in Trafficking Arrest
NEW BEDFORD — Members of the New Bedford Police Department Narcotics Unit took 43 grams of cocaine off the street during the trafficking arrest of a man on Stowell Street.
Following an investigation into a cocaine distribution service out of 44 Stowell Street, Apt. #2, police executed a search warrant at the address and discovered 43.5 grams of cocaine, packaging materials, a digital scale and cash.
On Thursday night police arrested 28-year-old Rodney D. Hollis Jr., of 44 Stowell St. Apt. 2 in New Bedford. Hollis was charged with trafficking in cocaine.
Judge Thomas McGuire held Hollis on $2,000 bail. The district attorney's office requested $10,000 bail. His next court date is July 27.
