New Bedford Firefighters Union Toy Drive Big Success
Jim Phillips / TSM[/caption]More than a dozen community organizations are receiving toys for needy kids, as part of the annual New Bedford Firefighters Union Toy Drive.
The union teams with the United Way each year to collect and deliver toys to children.
The United Way's Victoria Grasela tells WBSM News, she sees the need every day....
The Firefighters Union collected more than 4,000 toys over the past few weeks.
They were packaged on Monday and delivered out of Station Six in the South End to agencies like North Star Learning Center, Harbour House, and the YWCA.
