
New Bedford Police Arrest Alleged Fentanyl and Cocaine Trafficker
NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — New Bedford Police detectives seized a significant amount of illegal narcotics and arrested a Roslindale man in connection.
Anthony Jose Soto-Cintron, 26, was arrested and charged with trafficking 100 grams of cocaine and trafficking 18 grams of fentanyl.
On November 2, detectives received information concerning the arrival of a large amount of narcotics allegedly being delivered into the area. The vehicle that was allegedly providing the narcotics was a new model Lexus, according to reports.

Once the vehicle was located, police said detectives followed the suspect as he traveled into New Bedford and Dartmouth.
Police reported that the vehicle stopped in the area of Sharp Street and Slocum Road in Dartmouth, where the operator was identified as Soto-Cintron.
Soto-Cintron was searched and according to police was found to have over 112 grams of crack cocaine, over 65 grams of powder cocaine, and over 23 grams of fentanyl in his possession.
He was taken into custody as Dartmouth Police officers also arrived on the scene to assist.
