New Bedford Welcomes Former WWE Star Fandango for Pro Wrestling Event

The Vault in New Bedford is going to “ring” in the New Year with pro wrestling action and a special appearance by former WWE Superstar Fandango.

The LIVE Pro Wrestling event is entitled “New Year, New Matches” and it’s taking place Sunday, January 1 at The Vault, located at 791 Purchase Street. The all-ages event has a bell time of 5 p.m. and is a joint presentation of Cojo’s Toy World and Purchase Street Records.

Fandango, who now wrestles as “Dirty Dango,” will take on “World Class” Channing Thomas with Sidney Bakabella in his corner.

Dango will also be doing a meet-and-greet for one hour, beginning at 3 p.m., at Cojo’s Toy World. Details are available on the Cojo’s Facebook page.

There will be a mixed tag team bout in which LIVE Pro Heavyweight Champion Little Mean Kathleen will team with Teddy Goodz (as seen on both WWE and AEW in recent months) to battle “Dime Piece” Aaron Rourke and “International Pop Star” B3CCA.

Bryce Donovan will defend the Create a Pro Heavyweight Title against “Victorious” BRG, and Skywalker Champion “Alternative” Anthony Greene will defend his title against Mo Jabari.

In other action, “Rhode Island Lion” Nico Silva takes on “Silver Sniper” TJ Crawford, Bobby Orlando (with Bobby Jr.) battles JT Dunn (with AJP), and “Flex 2.0” Cesar Leo faces off against Ichiban.

There will also be “Couples Therapy” with Craig Costa and Love Doug, plus more action to be announced.
