
New Bedford Man Arraigned for Major Cocaine Trafficking in Hyannis
BARNSTABLE (WBSM) — A New Bedford man was arraigned today in Barnstable District Court for allegedly trafficking cocaine in Hyannis along with another man, with over a half-kilo of cocaine seized in their arrest.
According to Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois, Jermaine Dudley, 33, was arraigned along with Ilya Zinov, 36, of Hyannis on charges of trafficking 200 grams or more of cocaine.
Surveillance and Arrest Timeline
According to the D.A.’s Office, a Massachusetts State Trooper conducted surveillance on Dudley on August 5, from New Bedford to an address in Hyannis. There, Barnstable Police joined in the investigation.
The D.A.’s Office said Dudley and Zinov were seen “(engaging) in a quick meeting in a vehicle in a parking lot in Hyannis that, based on the experiences of the investigating state trooper, a narcotics exchange occurred between the parties.
The two men were arrested, and the D.A.’s Office said over a half-kilo of suspected cocaine was recovered along with a large sum of currency.

Zinov Was Already on Probation
At the time of their arrest, Zinov was on probation for aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon out of Barnstable Superior Court.
Next Court Date: Dangerousness Hearing
Both Dudley and Zinov were held without bail and both will have a dangerousness hearing on Friday, August 8.
