The City of New Bedford has acquired two new, state-of-the-art ambulances.

Chief Financial Officer Ari Sky tells WBSM News, the city has purchased two new vehicles in each of the past two years.

That added revenue says Sky, has helped to offset the cost of the new vehicles, saving taxpayers some money.

The new ambulances were on display Tuesday outside City Hall.
