Mosquito Spraying Scheduled For Early Thursday

More mosquito spraying planned for New Bedford, this time after a mosquito carrying EEE is found in East Freetown.

The Bristol County Mosquito Control Project will be conducting targeted ground spraying early Thursday morning between 2am and sunrise.  The spraying will take place around the New Bedford Business Park and Sassaquin Pond as well as Buttonwood Park.

According to a press release sent by the Mayor's Office, city residents might wish to close their windows before going to bed Wednesday night.
