Mitchell To Deliver State of the City Address Thursday

Mayor Jon Mitchell's State of the City address is being presented Thursday afternoon.

The address will focus on the most recent year of Mitchell's administration, and how the City fared in 2014.

Speaking on his weekly radio program, Mitchell says his speech will cover a vast array of issues, including law enforcement initiatives.

Mitchell will also speak about economic development, the expected impacts of the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal, and the recent development of a casino deal for the City.

The State of the City address will be presented at 1pm Thursday from the gymnasium of Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech.
