Four From New Bedford Area in Miss Massachusetts Pagent

Four young ladies from Greater New Bedford are vying for the title of Miss Massachusetts Friday and Saturday night at the Hanover Theater in Worcester.

It's the 74 annual State Pagent with the winner chosen from among 21 contestants. Miss New Bedford is Janelle Guinette of Acushnet, Miss Fall River is Jillian Zucco of Mattapoisett, Miss South Coast is Marissa Louro of South Dartmouth and Miss Middlesex County is Jocylne Nunes of Acushnet.

The current Miss Massachusetts is Taylor Kinzler of Lakeville. The winner of the State Pagent goes on to compete in the Miss America Pagent in Atlantic City in September.
