Miss Apple Peach Pageant Information Night July 11 In Acushnet

Volunteers for the Miss Apple Peach Pageant are hosting an information night to recruit contestants for the 2017 pageant, which will be held on Sept. 8.

According to South Coast Today.com, the information night will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, at the Acushnet Police Department.

The winner of the Apple Peach Pageant will receive a prize package along with appearances throughout the year.

Female participants who are interested in registering must be Acushnet residents and must be enrolled in high school (grades 9-12) as of September 2017.  Also, participants must commit to raising a minimum of $30 to benefit the Lakeville Old Colony Acushnet Lions Club.

"The pageant format includes casual wear, formal wear and two on-stage questions. No previous dance, pageant or performing experience is required."
