Middle School Students And Families Invited to NBHS Open House

New Bedford High School is holding an Open House Wednesday night, and is inviting middle school students and their families from across the city. The event runs from 6-8pm.

School officials said in a press release,  the Open House will highlight the high school's rigorous academic programs, its career academies in such areas as Engineering, Finance and Information Technology, and the largest selection of Advanced Placement classes in the area.

The school will also showcase its athletic, music and arts programs as well.

Visitors will also have the chance to tour the school and take part in a question and answer period.  Visitors should enter through the auditorium entrance at 230 Hathaway Boulevard.
