Panda, the three-year-old cattle dog & pit bull mix, is available for adoption from Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford.

I'm a low-medium energy girl. I am so dang cute that I make people melt at the sight of me, it's crazy! I wish I had my own family to snuggle with on the couch. I'm an adorable, cuddly girl. When I first meet you, I'm sort of aloof - I like to sniff everything around me first. Everything around here is still sort of new to me. Then I'll approach you and sweep you off your feet - just wait for it! I love other dogs of all energy levels. The volunteers at the shelter say I was used for previously used for breeding before I was rescued. I did have a lot of puppies in my previous life. Now I'm ready to be spoiled like I deserve to be! I am a confident girl who likes everyone that I meet. I am quiet and well-behaved in my crate.

Please contact the Lighthouse Animal Shelter for more information on Panda. You can also start the adoption process online or schedule a time to meet her.  Lighthouse Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization that works to promote the welfare of animals at risk of euthanasia. In addition, we work with the community to maximize efforts in reducing pet overpopulation. We rescue all of our dogs from high-kill shelters down south (the majority being from Kentucky, South Carolina, and North Carolina) and transport them to our shelter for adoption. The adoption fee for all dogs is $375. This helps cover the cost of medical care received. All dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
