Meet Meg, the 2-Year-Old Shepard Mix [CAUSE FOR PAWS]
Meg, the two-year-old Shepard mix, is available for adoption from Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford.
I am a medium energy girl. I love to play with other dogs and chase them in circles! It's so fun being in the yard with my friends. I am unsure of strangers at first. It takes me a little time to trust that you won't hurt me. Once I feel comfortable around you, I'm very sweet and playful. The volunteers say that someone was probably mean to me in the past. It's not my fault that I don't trust humans at first and I can't wait until someone takes me home and gives me the love I've always deserved! Once I am settled and feeling more secure in my surroundings, I will blossom into a wonderful companion.
Please contact the Lighthouse Animal Shelter for more information on Meg. You can also start the adoption process online or schedule a time to meet him. ABOUT OUR PARTNERS
Lighthouse Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization that works to promote the welfare of animals at risk of euthanasia. In addition, we work with the community to maximize efforts in reducing pet overpopulation. We rescue all of our dogs from high-kill shelters down south (the majority being from Kentucky, South Carolina, and North Carolina) and transport them to our shelter for adoption. The adoption fee for all dogs is $375. This helps cover the cost of medical care received. All dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
