BOSTON — Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia is back in federal court in Boston Friday morning.

The Fall River Herald News reports Correia is due back for a bail review hearing in courtroom 23 of the Moakley U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Correia will be before magistrate Donald Cabell.

The circumstances surrounding the bail review hearing aren’t known at this time.

Correia was arrested by federal authorities last Friday for the second time in less than a year on an 11-count indictment charging him with government corruption and extortion. In October of 2018, he was arrested on a 13-count federal indictment for allegedly defrauding investors in his SnoOwl app.
