Why Maura Healey’s Name Is Surfacing in the New Epstein Document Dump
When the U.S. Department of Justice dropped three million more documents from the Epstein files last week, the search was on to see who might be in there. Would Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, or Prince Andrew be outed in candid photos or tattled on in racy emails?
So far, I've heard no major bombshells from the press, but there have been a few surprises.
For example, who in a million years would have expected to see Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey's name pop up in the Epstein files? Blew me away!

Now, let me be clear. There is no suggestion that Healey was involved in any wrongdoing, that she was pals with Jeffrey Epstein, or that she had ever met him. There were no photos of a bikini-clad (or worse) Maura Healey traipsing around Epstein's notorious Caribbean island. There was none of that.
So how did Healey's name appear in the Epstein files?
Who is James P. McGee and the New Grange Consulting Group?
Tim Dunn wrote for the Boston Herald, "A former political advisor (James P. McGee) who claims he helped Gov. Maura Healey win her election as Attorney General pitched himself for a job with Jeffrey Epstein in 2019 to help with the pedophile's burgeoning bad press, according to the latest DOJ files."
I've since located the email in the now-public Epstein files.
The 2019 Email: What Was Actually Said to Epstein?
In the email, dated February 23, 2019, McGee wrote, "I elected the 1st Openly Gay (Lesbian) Attorney General in the United States with Maura Healey (MA), and I continue to be her Senior Political Advisor, and she is probably running for Massachusetts Governor in 2022."
McGee went on to say, "I continue to advise most of the Massachusetts House Leadership Team, including the Chairman of Ways and Means, who sets the $40 Billion Dollar Budget here in Massachusetts, as well as the House Majority Leader, Chairman of Elections, Chairman of Redistricting, etc, to name a few."
The Boston Herald reported there were "expenditures made to McGee's firm, New Grange Consulting Group, as far back as 2014," at roughly $3,000 per month – but no indication that Healey consulted with or even knew McGee.
Governor Healey’s Official Response to the Document Release
In a statement to the newspaper, Healey's campaign said, "It's unacceptable for anyone to misrepresent their connection with her to try to win the business of a known child sex predator."
