'Tis the season for Easter egg hunts. Local towns will be hosting their annual events as families and kids search for the holiday favorite.

It's a beloved tradition that so many take take part in whether it is with their community or a family-hosted hunt in the yard. The best part? Discovering what's inside.

Fun-Filled Easter Eggs

The muti-colored eggs hiding in the tree, on the swing set or simply scattered throughout the grass are fun to find and even more fun to open. We love to fill the eggs with a wide variety of items.

Yes, candy is classic, but we try to keep it in the Easter baskets. The kids' faces light up when they discover tiny animals, play jewelry, small race cars and even coins hiding inside.

It's a treasured pastime, one that typically wraps up when you're a kid.
