Mattapoisett Fire Contained to One Home
MATTAPOISETT — Fire crews in Mattapoisett were able to prevent the spread of a blaze that engulfed a Cove Street home early Saturday morning.
According to a 9 a.m. Facebook post from the department, firefighters were called out with Engine 1 earlier that morning on reports of a structure fire.
Once at the scene, they found a house "heavily involved" in flames.
