
Mattapoisett Police Arrest Three, Recover Car Stolen in Fall River
MATTAPOISETT (WBSM) — Mattapoisett Police arrested three apparent juveniles and recovered a vehicle stolen out of Fall River earlier today following a crash.
According to a police Facebook post, the department received a call for a hit-and-run crash on Route 6 in the area of the Mattapoisett Mobil gas station at about 9:30 a.m. today. One of the vehicles had reportedly fled the scene and was last seen traveling on North Street.
Police then located the disabled vehicle on the side of the road with extensive front-end damage. According to police, witnesses reported seeing three males exit the vehicle and fleeing the area.

Meanwhile, police learned the vehicle was recently stolen out of Fall River in the early-morning hours.
The three males were soon located on Church Street and taken into custody. The vehicle was then towed back to the Mattapoisett police station.
Police said that due to the age of the suspects, their identities are not being released.
