MassDOT Announces On-Ramp Closure In Plainville

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation says that Exit 14B on Interstate 495 South in Plainville will be closed until Friday.

Officials say traffic trying to access Route 1 Southbound from the interstate will be detoured to Exit 14A.

Motorists will then follow detour signs to the Interstate 495 North on-ramp.

Traffic will then continue on Interstate 495 North and take the off-ramp at Exit 14B to Route 1 Southbound.

Officials say the closure is taking place as part of Plainridge Park Casino Project.
