During his speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, Governor Deval Patrick made it clear that Mitt Romney was not good for Massachusetts.

When Mitt Romney talks about how much he's fixed, Mass. Governor Deval Patrick wants it known that Massachusetts was not one of those things. That was the first attack on the republican presidential candidate. He also went on to say that while Romney is a good person, he won't be good for the country.

Besides attacking Romney, Patrick also praised some of the actions that President Obama took during his presidency, including the execution of Osama Bin Laden, and the repeal of 'don't ask, don't tell'. He encouraged other Democrats to stand up for what they believe in, and not be bullied.
