There is no question that I am not a big fan of Massachusetts Democratic Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley. The feeling might be mutual, I'm sure, if she's even heard of me. I doubt that she has, but I'm cool with that.

In my view, Pressley is an extreme leftist, which she has every right to be. I consider myself to be far right of center, so there you go. Pressley might consider me as radical as I view her to be.

Pressley's personal life, which for the most part is none of my business, has only recently come to my attention.

When Pressley bowed out of a potential primary challenge to Massachusetts U.S. Senator Ed Markey, she cited a desire to spend more time with her daughter, who will soon be heading off to college.

I thought that was sweet, and as a parent, I appreciated the sentiment. That's one thing I didn't know about Pressley. She is human.

The other thing I discovered recently about Rep. Pressley is that she is married to a man who, according to Fox News Digital, spent 10 years in prison "on felony drug trafficking charges."

It seems an odd pairing.

Conan Harris, Pressley's husband, only crossed my radar screen when reports surfaced that he allegedly slapped the cell phone out of the hand of a reporter who dared to ask his wife a question.

My reaction was, "How rude is this dude?" Then I read about his past.

Listeners tell me that Harris's past life is no secret. In fact, my colleague Howie Carr has apparently discussed Harris on his own program on WBSM.

Wow! The things you learn about people when you're not even trying.
