AGAWAM, Mass. (AP) — Police in western Massachusetts continue to investigate after a raid on an Agawam storage locker yielded more than 100 pounds of marijuana and more than $1 million in cash.

Police said Wednesday that the 118 pounds of marijuana seized with the assistance of federal agents last week had a street value of almost $400,000.

The Westfield News reports that Chief Eric Gillis says it's the biggest drug bust in town history and the drug conspiracy likely stretches well beyond the town's borders.

Police know the person who rents the storage locker but he has not yet been arrested. They say an arrest is imminent. One man was charged with motor vehicle violations in connection with the raid.
