A man charged with running a meth lab in his Attleboro home will go before a judge Monday morning.

Officials tell ABC6 that officers were sent to the Knight Ave. home around 12:40 p.m. over reports of an overdose.

During the investigation officers uncovered evidence that a meth lab was being operated in the home and a hazmat team was called in.

Officials ordered an evacuation of the two nearby homes as crews cleaned up the scene, an operation police say was completed by 6:15 p.m.

Police tell ABC6 the resident, identified as 52-year-old Robert Acheson, was charged with manufacturing crystal methamphetamine.
