We asked the SouthCoast to share why they think they have the Luck of the Irish and we got some great responses.

Whether you're Irish or not, many celebrate the holiday in different ways. This year I wanted to reflect on moments of luck.

We took to Facebook and asked, " What's the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?"

Well, you all had some funny and touching replies, but first I want to share the luckiest thing that ever happened to me.

It was tough to come up with one thing as I have been very lucky but if I had to choose, it would be that time I ran into Enrique Iglesias in Miami. Granted, he lives there, but we were both at the same party and he just walked into the little VIP area we had bought and asked for a drink.

I didn't realize who it was until I went up to him and asked him how he got in. He cracked a joke, shook my hand and introduced himself. Yeah, I felt pretty stupid, but Enrique stuck around for a while and was actually so fun. I'm pretty sure he just wanted to hang with the attractive friends I have.

Now that I shared one of my luckiest moments, it's time to share yours. Looks like many SouthCoast residents have been getting lucky in so many ways.

Happy St. Patrick's Day.
