I can't stand it! Did you know you can lose a third of body fat by simply standing? Researchers at the University of Texas have found that standing for up to 6 hours per day can cut fat levels by a third! This is an amazing find! Cutting down on sitting also slashes the risk of becoming over weight or obese by 32%.

The researchers looked at the 'standing habits' of more than 7,000 adults and compared their Body Mass Index (BMI). They found that for men, standing just a quarter of the time was linked to a 32% reduced chance of obesity, while standing half the time was associated with a 59% reduced likelihood of obesity.

For women, they found that standing a quarter, half and three quarters of the time was linked with 35%, 47% and 57% respective reductions in the chance of obesity. Try standing and see if their conclusions match with yours!
