“Location, Location, Location.” - Lord Harold Samuel, Real Estate Tycoon

It is very important to select the right place for you to host your lemonade stand. Your location could make a really big difference in how successful the day will be. What makes a great location? A safe place with lots of thirsty people and who have money to spend.

You want people to be able to find you easily. So, visibility is important. You also want your location to be safe for you and your customers. You don’t want to be on a busy road with too many cars driving too fast, and avoid all other dangers if possible. You also want to hold plenty of parking for your customers to access your stand. Otherwise, they might just keep driving. The timing of your stand should give you the best chance to get as many customers as you can! This is a big factor in your business plan when it comes to how you will operate.

There is some uncertainty this year with being able to set up a lemonade stand at a business, but that doesn't mean you can't look more closely at your home or a family members' home who may have a really active neighborhood. There are a lot of things that will look different this year, but with a little creativity, you can still run a successful business from your driveaway.
