Local Southcoast Friday Night Sports Recap

There was a full schedule of local boys and girls basketball Friday.

In boys hoops..in a game broadcast on WBSM, Fairhaven was eliminated from post season play with a 59-41 loss to Bourne. Dartmouth beat Bridgewater-Raynham 73-56. Bishop Stang lost to Feehan 52-47, Seekonk crushed Apponequet 73-60 and Case nipped Old Rochester 56-54..

In girls basketball, Dartmouth wrapped up its home schedule with 46-18 win over Bridgewater Raynham..Feehan beat Stang 78-49. Wareham topped Pope John Paul 60-51. Old Rochester pounded Case 44-15. Bourne got by Fairhaven 50-40 and Apponequet crushed Seekonk 66-21.

WBSM's next basketball broadcast will be Tuesday night at 6:20 as the boys of New Bedford Voke Tech host Fairhaven.
