Lakeville Police Arrest Man for Explicit Contact with Child
LAKEVILLE — Lakeville Police have arrested a man they say was in communication with a child for the purpose of sex.
After a seven-month investigation, Lakeville Police arrested Robert Oliver, 57, of 21 Ocean Pines Drive, Sagamore Beach.
Police say Oliver was attempting to solicit sex from a child over the internet.
Oliver is charged with paying for sexual conduct with a child under 18 and providing obscene material to a minor child.
Oliver is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Wareham District Court.
