The clock is ticking. How much rice can you handle?

Now until October 31, Eli’s Grill House in Kingston, Massachusetts, is challenging brave eaters to face the ultimate test of endurance: the All-You-Can-Eat Rice Challenge. Located at 101 Kingston Collection Way, this gluten-free restaurant is turning up the heat and rewarding those who can conquer the carbs and forever shaming those who fall short.

This challenge is not for the weak.

The Rules of the Rice Trial

Competitors are given exactly 15 minutes to eat as much rice as they can. The twist: no water or drinks are allowed until the bowl is empty.

It’s just you, the grains, and the clock counting down to your potential glory – or doom. Every time someone wins, the next challenger faces an even larger portion, meaning the difficulty grows with each victory. There’s no sharing, no breaks, and absolutely no mercy. You either survive the trial or become another failure etched in rice history.

The Rewards for Survivors

Those who manage to finish the entire portion within the time limit will walk away victorious. Not only is the meal completely free, but winners also earn an exclusive “I Survived the Rice” T-shirt to wear as a badge of honor.

Their names will be immortalized on Eli’s legendary Wall of Survivors, joining a small and proud club of champions who have stared down the mountain of rice and lived to tell the tale.

The Price of Failure

For those who fail, the consequences are harsh.

Your defeat won’t go unnoticed – you’ll pay for your meal, but the real sting comes from having your name permanently displayed on the 'Wall of the Condemned' for all to see. It’s a scarlet letter of starch, a reminder that you came, you saw, and you were buried by basmati.

Think You’re Up for It?

"The Rice Trial" runs all month long, giving plenty of time for would-be challengers to test their limits. Whether you’re in it for the glory, the free meal, or just the fun of saying you tried, Eli’s Grill House is ready to host your moment of glory – or your downfall. The question is simple but terrifying: how much rice can you really handle?
