One thousand people could get a summons to be a juror in the Boston Marathon bombing trial.

The judge announced during a pretrial hearing he expects a pool of one-thousand potential jurors will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and approximately 100 will be called in for further questioning to find a impartial jury.

Dzhokar Tzarnaev is accused of carrying out the April 2013 attacks that killed three and wounded more than 200.  He could be face the death penalty if convicted.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin on January 5th.  (Metro Networks Inc.)
