JetBlue Apologizes To Family
JetBlue Airways is apologizing to the mother of a girl who had to urinate in her seat because a flight attendant refused to let her use the restroom.
Jennifer Devereaux told WBZ-TV in Boston that her three-year-old daughter was denied use of the bathroom while the plane sat on the tarmac during a delay at John F Kennedy Internatinal airport in New York Friday.
In a statement, JetBlue said it had reached out directly to Devereaux and offered an apology. JetBlue said the airline was following FAA regulations that require all passengers to remain seated while a plane is on the taxiway.
JetBlue also gave Devereaux a 50-dollar credit toward a future flight and offered to give five-thousand dollars to a charity of her choice. (Metro Networks Inc.)
