Huge News for Women’s Sports Fans: The Sports Bra Is Coming to Downtown Boston

From the moment The Sports Bra opened its first location in 2022, I have been in awe of its vision: a sports bar 100 percent dedicated to women’s sports by airing women's games on its screens.

A Prime Location in the Heart of Downtown Boston

Like many around here, I haven't had the chance to experience it since its only location is in Oregon – until now.

"We are thrilled to announce that The Sports Bra Boston has officially secured its home base at 2 Broad Street," they shared. "Situated right in the heart of the city, where the Financial District meets the Wharf District, right along the Rose Kennedy Greenway, our new 3,243-square-foot space is getting ready to become the ultimate hub for women’s sports fans across New England."

Why This washed-Up Athlete and Sports Fan Can't Wait

That's right, the brand new Sports Bra will be just a short drive away. As a washed-up athlete and woman in sports, this news is very exciting. Not only did I grow up playing sports and continued playing through college (in fact, as I'm writing this, I'm wearing my Bridgewater State Bears basketball sweatshirt), I've also worked for the Boston Bruins for over a decade. My love of sports is clearly strong.
