How One Man Profited From Tropical Storm Hermine [VIDEO]
When Tropical Storm Hermine (or rather, her remnants) began bearing down on the Southcoast on Labor Day morning, I was in the WBSM studio, filling in for Phil Paleologos. I was looking out the window, watching the wind swirling trash around the parking lot, when it passed through my field of vision--a crisp dollar bill.
I assumed that the way the wind kept blowing, it would be long gone before I ever got out there. But then, a funny thing happened--because the studio is in the corner of the plaza, the wind basically created a small cyclonic vortex in front of the window, and that dollar never traveled far.
During a news break, I braved the elements (a few gusts of wind and some light sprinkles) in order to retrieve the buck. So for at least one man, there was a profit to be made from Tropical Storm Hermine.
Dollar dollar bill, y'all.
