House Poised To Axe New Tech Tax
The Massachusetts House is expected to repeal the state's unpopular new technology tax when it returns from a two-month recess on Wednesday.
House Speaker Robert DeLeo says he won't support any new tax to take its place, and points to the state's half-billion-dollar budget surplus.
The six-point-25-percent tax on software services was part of the legislature's tax bill passed earlier this year.
