A man police say had 345 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine in his apartment is arraigned in New Bedford District Court.

According to Bristol County District Attorney spokesman Greg Miliote, 24-year-old Travis Mello of New Bedford was ordered held on $100,000 cash bail during his Tuesday arraignment.

Police arrested Mello in his apartment Saturday, and seized the cocaine along with nearly $3,000 in cash. Mello is charged with trafficking cocaine in excess of 200 grams, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, subsuquent offense, and violation of the career criminal act.

Mello was originally scheduled to be arraigned Monday afternoon, but his private attorney was not able to appear in court in time.

Mello is scheduled to appear in court on January 13 for a pre-trial hearing.
