New movies this weekend include the highly anticipated adaption of the book, Divergent, starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Zoe Kravitz, Mekhi Phifer, Ray Stevenson, Jai Courtney, Ashley Judd and Ansel Elgort. The film, set in the future in a world where people are divded into factions based on human virtues, follows Tris Prior, played by Woodley, a Divergent, who must learn to trust in the mysterious Four, played by James, to help her find out why being Divergent is so dangerous before a plot by a faction leader, Jeanine, played by Winslet, to destroy all Divergents is put into play.

Divergent is rated PG-13 and has a running time of 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Also opening today is the new Muppets movie, Muppets Most Wanted, starring Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, Ray Liotta and the whole Muppet gang. The film follows the Muppets as they embark on a world tour, selling out all over Europe, but when they find themselves in the middle of an international crime caper headed by Constantine, the world's number one criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit, they must fight to stop Constantine and his number two, Dominic, played by Gervais.

Muppets Most Wanted is rated PG and has a running time of 1 hour and 46 minutes.
