Head Start In New Bedford Protests Budget Cuts

A quiet, but meaningful protest outside the Head Start early education site on Madison Street in New Bedford.

Thirty-two small chairs were lined up outside the entrance to the building on Monday, signifying the 32 slots that won't be filled by children, because of sequestration cuts in federally-funded programs.
