Most political observers say the Joe Biden Administration is off to a solid start in Washington. Include the head of the UMass Dartmouth Political Science Department on that list.

Professor Ken Manning says President Biden has successfully rolled out the coronavirus vaccine and secured passage of the American Rescue Act, a bill aimed at pulling various sectors of the nation's economy and the American people out of the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Professor Manning is giving Biden high marks for his first 100 days in office, but says many challenges await the new administration.
