The 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards kicked off Sunday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and honored this year's best in film and television.

According to ET Online.com, the Golden Globe Awards was hosted by Jimmy Fallon. The show brought out Hollywood's brightest stars, from Sarah Jessica Parker and Ben Affleck, to Ryan Gosling and Leonardo DiCaprio, all who were treated to mini bottles of Moët & Chandon, the official champagne of the Globes.

Eight-time Golden Globe winner, Meryl Streep, was the guest of honor for the night and received the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award.

The film La La Land swept all of their seven total nominations and broke the Golden Globes record for the most awards given to one film in a single year.
