Freetown Police Investigate Tailgate Thefts

Freetown Police are asking the public for help in locating suspects in the theft of three high-end tailgates stolen from late model pickup trucks.

Public Information Officer Lt. Steven Abbott says the thefts have happened in East Freetown over the past week.

He says thieves have stolen the tailgates from three "Super Duty" Ford pickup trucks.  The  tailgates include multiple accessories such as back up cameras, step ladders, and boarding handles. Each tailgate has an estimated value of up to $3,500.
