Freetown Police Identify, Seek Bank Robbery Suspect
An Assonet man is wanted by police in connection with a bank robbery in Freetown.
Freetown Police say they've identified the suspect in Friday's robbery as 24-year-old Michael McLane of Richmond Road in Assonet.
Police say just before noon on Friday, a man believed to be McLane entered the lobby of the Santander Bank on South Main Street in Freetown, and handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled.
McLane is described as a white male, 6' tall, 155 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes.
