SouthCoast's own Mikayla Nogueira has caught the eye of TIME magazine, listed among their most influential creators of 2025.
This is a huge achievement for Nogueira as she joins an elite list of the top 100 in the world to be named to TIME100 Creators: Most Influential Digital Voices 2025.

To put things into perspective, there are over 67 million content creators globally, "forming a multi-hundred-billion-dollar industry where social media creator revenues are growing five times faster than those of traditional media," TIME reports.
Nogueira joins an elite group of big names:

Mikayla Nogueira's Rise to Fame

Her viral videos have been racking up millions of views for years, leading to endorsement deals, celebrity attention and even the launch of her own beauty line.

Her rise to fame came years after working jobs in fast food, retail and even an internship with Fun 107.

Sam Jacobs, Editor in Chief of TIME, shared the reasoning behind highlighting this unique group of digital creators, saying "they are changing what we watch, how we spend our time, what we buy, and how we vote."
"We focused primarily on English-language creators. We also selected those who built careers for themselves natively through these digital platforms, rather than carrying them there through success in a previous medium like television or journalism," Jacobs wrote.
