
Fire Destroys Fairhaven Home

A unoccupied home on 36 Nelson Ave on Wilbur's Point in Fairhaven was totally destroyed by a fire early Monday.
The single family home was being renovated and the occupants, Thomas and Mary Lou Rossi were away.
The fire was called in shortly after 4:30am, and Public Information Officer firefighter Wayne Oliveira tells WBSM News, the blaze was already "well along" when fire crews arrived.....
It took firefighters 3 hours to put out the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated at $750,000 and the State Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
