Fairhaven Firefighter Wayne Oliveira Retires [TOWNSQUARE SUNDAY]

Fairhaven firefighter Wayne Oliveira will retire on Sunday, October 27, and will be given the traditional ride home on a fire truck on his last day at work.

Wayne has held many positions in the Fairhaven Fire Department, including Public Affairs Officer, Training Officer, a certified Emergency Medical Technician and many more. He's also been very active in community affairs.

Wayne will join Jim Phillips this week to reflect on his 42 years of service in the fire department, what he'll miss the most, and also shed some light on his future plans.
